I don't know; it had been a Snickers or a Twix, that would be OK, but I hate Galaxy chocolate.
The "like ashes" bit about the dog is a tad suspicious - meteorites (according to meteoriticists) are not that hot by the time they reach the surface.
Mebbe 'twas a death-ray!
