Interesting - though a lack of documentation was a bit of a drawback. What were the red circles? Why did the vehicles never seem to get past a certain point? Was that a drawback of the vehicle, or just a timeout?
I think: (The author says he's going to release the source code/documentation) - There is a FAQ, BTW (I'll try and find it) It's trying to evolve a vehicle to "succeed" on a particular domain - when the vehicle fails a test(one of the Red bits touches the scenery[?]) , it's adjusted/repositioned, and re-retested. At first I assumed the red bits were "the passenger" and their vibration/comfort mattered, but I'm not so sure now
