As a 10 year old, [jonthegeologist]'s cousin sent a threatening letter to Tring museum (number 3 in the list), threatening to blow it up. Some kind of childish jape. However, being a well brought up young man (fake bomb threats aside), he put his address on the top of the letter. I suspect the police that came round were trying quite hard not to laugh at his rubbishness in the fake terrorism field. Amusingly he now works for the Government in a top-secret role and has to disclose this to his boss at every single one of his tri-annual security checks.
I quite like the new avatar, [-+/ ]. Perhaps I should attempt something similarly "OP-Artic". (And who is AWOL to talk about avatars, anyway? He's into the wormwood.)
I've been to 2 or 3 of these, including Lanhydrock - where I also have a training course in a couple of weeks time. I'll try and get some photos...
