Years ago I worked in the publishing trade and it was often easier and cheaper to let bookstores etc keep books when they were due to be returned (at our cost.)
I was going to skip a lecture in uni today and go with a friend to see what's left, but 5am comes around and it turns out he couldn't go. I'm not really sure if it would be worth the (80ish mile) trip on Wednesday when I'm free, I imagine it would be almost totally cleared out. Did anyone go?

Wow! Where's a shopping cart when you need one!
ReplyDeleteUsually outside the local council housing or near the pub. :-p
ReplyDeleteIn the UK, that'd be "In the local river"
ReplyDeleteI live in Bristol. I actually live in Bedminster. How did I miss this?!
