After "Don't forget the breathe", the second rule of SCUBA diving is "Don't tease the wildlife".Frankly, if I ever dived with anyone I saw doing something like that, and he was a fellow PADI professional, he could expect to be on a report.Unforgiveable - he's potentially responsible for the safety of other divers with him and he makes himself a victim AND sets a bad example - stupid.It's almost as if we're only at the stage of feeding the cute bears in US National Parks.What a jerk.
Resumably, this is just as bad, then?
Pretty much, yes.Just because they're mammals doesn't mean they're not wild and potentially unpredictable.IIRC there was a case recently in the UK of a diver prosecuted for, ahem, interacting with dolphins in an inappropriate manner.
