  2. A swell reason to celebrate the "Gnomenclator".

  3. Barry is quite a swinger. I played a round with him myself, at one time.

  5. Be he ever so humble, there is no one like Gnome. Happy Birthday! Now go find a hole in one.

All holes covered in snow in Kent today!

  8. Many thanks for the sentiments (in Hector's case rather ambiguous!).
Not many courses open today and I am working from home with the promise of a pint and a curry later!.

Just cleared the drive and de-iced the car and am now sitting down to work.

  10. Not a nice time in the garden for gnomes just now (particularly when [UB]'s around)
But have a happy one anyway.

  11. Too easy - I got that on the first chukka.
The trick is to keep choosing the right sort of golf racquet, and not the one the game suggests, and your score will just keep going up!
I'm amazed that the developers didn't spot that one.

  16. 6 iron? 140-155metres = 155-170yards

  17. Nope! The bear can hit it a bit further - 180 yrds +

  18. Hitting it a bit too hard? I once got 155 metres (170 yards) out of a pitching wedge on an uphill shot that I thought I needed to really belt to get up to the green. Overshot by 40 metres. Took a solid 60deg lob wedge to get back to the green.
