  1. So either the scoop is magic or the goop is magic. My money is that the scooper/floor interface is magic.

  2. A new way of flipping burgers?
A new way of flipping boogers?

It's just a very thin conveyor, no?

  3. I don't know - If it was "just" a conveyor, whouldn't it smear goop?
    Perhaps it works with static

  4. Only if the speed it was being pushed forwards didn't match the speed the belt was travelling at, I'm guessing (wildly)

Why does it suddenly get shiny at 1:20?

If you look closely at the closing few seconds, there appears to be a shiny bit showing at the edge of the "belt".

  5. It's obviously alien technology!

  6. Perhaps aliens have particular problems scooping up mayo and ketchup spills.
Can't say it is a problem I've ever required a solution for, beyond a square of kitchen paper.

  7. At 1:34, the device picks up part of an oil stain, then places the intact stain in a different spot. All the transfers look surreal, probably due to MPEG compression. I usually dismiss this kind of thing as fake, but this time I'm almost convinced it's real (despite the fact that it does look like clever image manipulation). For some weird reason, it was filmed like a magic trick.

  8. (Suspect people want to MFD-Magic this)
I've used the same technique in the past
