Trololo Man vs Focus - Hocus Pocus

FOCUS - Hocus Pocus (1972 UK TV Appearance)

I couldn't find the previous Trololo Man post (Skinflaps, as this you?)

  1. I'd heard the Focus song before but never live - so I didn't recognise it until a good couple of seconds in. At first I thought it was "Drag Racer", the BBC Snooker theme.

    So - I went looking for Drag Racer on youtube but only found poor quality covers or snooker coverage until I found the Bill Bailey gag that involves it. I dismissed this as not quality enough for posting but then surfed a bit and found this:

    2 Random musical things for the price of one. "Dueling Banjos" then "Creep"

  2. Very nice, Jin.
    I must say, my fave version of Creep is still Anna Rosi's Ukulele version, thogh that's a pretty close runner-up!

    {This video version's not the best, sorry}

  3. I'm flattered, but it really wouldn't have worried me

  4. Massive penny has just dropped. It makes so much sense now.

    Focus did "House of the King" as well. Brilliant stuff.

    (The latter is used as the intro to BBC's "Saxondale"; the former is used as the closing music)

  5. ALways reminds me of those big TVs they used to wheel in to a primary school lesson when there was something interesting on... There was always a clock counting down with similar sounding music (Quick, more Look Around You)

  6. Oh yeah!!

    It's frighteningly accurate!

    (This is worth posting on the HB idea "Brain Math Coprocessor" thingy)

  9. "Sylvia" always reminds me of the student union bar jukebox.
    That, and "Peaches" by the Stranglers.
