The BBC might be alarmed if they also found out that the Northern Hemisphere of the planet is now tilted slightly away from the Sun. And during this cold snap, no less. It’s a double-whammy of doom. And it's obviously also a slow news day. A triple-whammy. That's more than enough whammy.
You're a gent, Mr. -+/, but it's ok, I deciphered the buses and trains and managed to get the 111 to Kingston and then train it to Waterloo from there. The journey into town on Fri morning was fine, if I am honest, but the journey back was beset by a throng of shoppers and school kids at Kingston. The buses were too busy by the time they got to our bus stop and when I did get on a bus it was in rush hour traffic. 2 hours in total for what would be a 45 minute journey. Not the worst thing in the world - but I'm glad the train is running again!

It's not even trains being cancelled... it's the whole damn service being cancelled. No trains have come through my local station for 2 whole days.
