Oh, it's OK, it's only DARPA trying to establish how fast news of our galactic overlords will travel across country.I for one welcome them.
Might've known some bods at MIT would get the prize. Actually, I'm glad - in the time that they spent trying to find the balloons they would probably write more papers than I have on the entire of my CV. Let's release more balloons!
