Um...just airing my ignorance again but ...there is no Tuesday Aug. 12th in 2009. The 12th of August was a tuesday last year. Is this an astronomical thing where they state the day of the evening of the early morning that you'll be stargazing on?
I think it's supposed to be midnight tonight/tomorrow (presumably the waning Moon is better than a Full moon), next couple of nights, but it won't be great.
