I've no idea what it does or how it does it, but I want one!

Contemplates posting a HB idea "Combination Watch" A watch that requires some complex puzzle to be solved before releasing the time (Haven't thought it through yet, but might require differing levels of complexity dependant on the info/accuracy/detail required - Antikythera Mechanism may have been a precursor, but, as we well know, the user got fed up and chucked it overboard)
Perhaps you could base your watch on the Chinese wooden knot puzzles which require the manipulation of a variety of pieces in a precise order in order to disassemble and reveal the intricate Concord watchworks hidden inside. You might call it a "Con-Gordian Knot Watch".
hmmm
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on this one.
It's a watch? It's a spaceship? It's a power plant? It's a bird? It's a plane?
ReplyDeleteShameless elf promotion

Are my eyes deceiving me or is the Green button at the top a "Nerdy" button?
ReplyDeleteMight as well say "Nerdy", but it actually reads "EnergyTank". At least that's what mine says....
ReplyDeleteShame! I was interested for a minute!
ReplyDeleteWith Concord, you'll be interested for every second, minute, hour, day, and quarter cycle of the moon...

ReplyDeleteNice, but the display is too big and you don't have to push a button to see the time.
ReplyDelete(The orginal LED watches made you do that to conserve the battery. That made checking the time a two-handed operation.)
I had one with a green display-worked fine until I spilt my Tizer on it.
