That first demo video is awesome! It's got a Jarre feel to it.
I played around with their Windows version, and it seems to be functional. It plays the MIDI 1 instrument (grand piano), and was playing something halfway between jazz and ragtime. There's a way to tell Windows to map to another MIDI instrument, but I can't remember how to do that at the moment. Since the program doesn't actually crash Windows, I'm encouraged to fiddle with it more.

Whether you meant Maurice Jarre (my preference), or son Jean Michel Jarre, I am always amazed at the eclecticism of this [Multiply] group.
ReplyDeleteHere's a YouTube sample of "Water For Life" from Jean Michel Jarre by which to compare.
Thanks! I'd not heard that - Which is quite a surprize as I'm quite a JMJ fan, too. (Oxygene/China Concerts/ early stuff)
ReplyDeleteYes, Michael, I meant Jean Michel.
